Hannah's Blue Tongued Lizard

Tiffany's big sister Hannah came to visit Room 6 yesterday.  She brought in her Blue Tongued Lizard to visit us.  We were all surprised at how big and tame her lizard was.  The lizard crawled along Hannah's arms and shoulders and walked around our room, flicking her tongue to smell everything.  Hannah talked to us about what her lizard ate and how she cares for it.  We were also very lucky to be given some blue cookies to eat which made our tongues blue like Hannah's lizard!  Thank you for coming to visit us Hannah :)

French Knitting

This week Room 6 started learning how to French knit. Some people are trying to beat other people. They are very long.  Zac has made two. You can make a mat, a necklace and the longest knitting. After you have finished, you take it home and use it for something.

3D Shapes

Room 6 enjoyed making 3D shapes for Geometry using small marshmallows and toothpicks.  We created pyramids, cubes and rectangular prisms.  The best part was eating the marshmallows when we'd finished taking photos of our creations!
